When life happens, Lisa has always gone to Jesus for direction and guidance. Lisa knows that Jesus will always be there in every valley and on every mountain top. Lisa wants others to grow their relationship with Jesus so they can know the depths of his love for them. Lisa has a diverse experience within early childhood development, adolescents, young adults, women, and families. Lisa is a mentor, coach, and counselor for children/adolescents, at-risk-youth, sex trafficking victims, foster youth, divorced families, and families of substance abuse/incarcerated parents. Lisa has taken to heart a quote her pastor says regarding the youth “we have to save them now so we don’t have to rescue them later” Lisa has a heart to see everyone know the depths of becoming whole in Christ, free from past pains, hurts, and trauma to be equipped and ready for the next season of life. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit Lisa has a passion for seeing the renewing of the mind from past to present then into the future God has for his children. Lisa knows that God holds our future and wants to see everyone be able to press into him for transformation so they may become whole and grow in the promises he has for them.
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:2
“Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” Romans 5:3-5 NIV
WBW does not accept insurance, however, we try to maintain a feasible amount for women to receive counsel. If payment is a deterrent for counseling, please reach out to womenbecomingwhole@gmail.com as oftentimes we can partner with your local church to see if they can help support you for counseling.
